Marvellous March birthdays ahead!

We are entering the 3rd month of 2015 already! This month, we send our most heartfelt birthday wishes out to these very special class of 1979 alumni and whom all coincidentally hail from 6A back then: 20th March – Laura Wang Tong Kum, who looks and sounds pretty much like when she was at school. Many of us remember her for her sweet demure voice and also for her family-owned chicken rice shop along Thomson Road which fed many of us at one time or another.

22nd March – Edmund Wee Heng Cheang, who was one of the more slightly built boys in 6A of 1979 but who has grown like Jack’s beanstalk . He exudes an aura that is uber cool!

24th March – it is a pity schools back then did not have valedictorian speeches back then (or did we?). If we did, the one for our year would surely have been Lai Yoke Kwai, whose intelligence quotient is beyond belief and yet remains under the radar with her self-deprecating humour.

It's not just her who is brilliant. Her smile is too! Lai Yoke Kwai, valedictorian

Happy birthday to all March babies!

With our best,

the class of 1979
